MBR- Sewage Treatment Plant

PFS Water Treatment Engineering one of the leading STP manufacturer in Pune and Aurangabad. One of most advance techniques to treat sewage from domestic, commercial and industrial buildings. Process is combination of ultra filtration or micro filtration and activated sludge process. MBR STP can be installed in both ways as concrete construction and in packaged type where all major components are prefabricated. Plant footprints are heavily reduced by eliminating secondary clarifier and tertiary treatment systems. In these sewage treatment plants membranes of pore size 0.03 microns to 0.4 microns are submerged in aerated biological reactor where organic contents i.e BOD is biologically removed by activated sludge.  Solid liquid separation done by micro filtration or ultra filtration membranes. To avoid courser and unwanted solids to enter treatment systems raw sewage from equilization / holding tank is first passed through fine screens to remove substances that may block / damage membrane surface.  Sewage Treatment Systems consist of two tanks namely anoxic tank and aerobic tank. SBR- Sewage Treatment Plant

Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) Sewage Treatment Plant provides highest treatment efficiency in single step treatment processes. Treatment Process works in a batch reactor mode which eliminates drawbacks of continuous operations. A batch reactor is an ideal reactor, which guarantees 100% treatment. Two modules are given to guarantee constant treatment. The total procedure happens in a single reactor, inside which all organic treatment steps occur successively. There is no need of additional settling unit or secondary clarifier.  Complete process is divided into cycles as

  • Filling Reactor
  • Aerating Reactor
  • Settling Reactor
  • Decanting Reactor
 For post treatment sludge is transferred to filter press and then to disposal. Treated water is post treated with multigrade filter and activated carbon filter to improve suspended solids, odor, etc. Effluent is reusable for gardening and flushing purposes.
